The Coosa Valley Chapter Meets on the Third Thursday of the Month, 6:30 PM at Opie’s Restaurant in downtown Rome, GA. EXCEPT----December TBA. NOTICE: Our November meeting will be on November 19th at Fudruckers starting at 6:30 p.m. If you decide to eat dinner, place your order as you enter the restaurant. The meeting room is on the opposite end of the room from the order desk.
This Saturday (NOV. 7th) is our first workday at Johns Creek at the Pocket. We need all members that can possibly come and help to be sure and do so. We need a good showing as this project was complicated in planning and starting up. This will also be a multi year project for our chapter and I dare say a very important project for our chapter as this is OUR local trout stream. Please bring gloves, shovels, rakes, and your waders. Also bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks. We will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the handicapped platform on the creek. I look forward to seeing each of you Saturday.
