The Coosa Valley Chapter Meets on the Last Thursday of the Month, 7:00PM at the Landmark Diner, Mt. Berry Mall off Hwy. 27N in Rome, GA., EXCEPT (3rd Thursday in November, December TBA)

The Coosa Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited sponsors two main events during the year- the TU Chili Cookoff at Ridge Ferry Park in Rome and a free Kid’s Fishing Day at Rolater Park in Cave Spring for ages three through twelve. The Chili Cookoff is always the second Saturday in October, and Kid’s Fishing Day WILL BE JUNE 21. Normally it is the day before Father’s Day, but not in 2008. The Chili Cookoff is our only fund raiser, and continues to make possible Kid’s Fishing Day, stream improvements, our many donations and our Endowment for College Students at the University of Georgia. Take a look at our Philanthropy page for a more information.

KID’S FISHING DAY, AT ROLATER PARK IN CAVE SPRING WILL BE SATURDAY, JUNE 21, 2008 FROM 9:00 AM UNTIL 3:00 PM. THIS IS FOR AGES THREE THROUGH TWELVE. NORMALLY, KID’S FISHING DAY IS THE DAY BEFORE FATHER’S DAY- FOR 2008 IT WILL BE THE FOLLOWING WEEK BECAUSE THE CITY OF CAVE SPRING HAS A FESTIVAL THIS YEAR.
